This March GTP car was discovered in very poor cosmetic condition, though mechanically was fairly complete and intact.
The owner was keen for us to restore the bodywork and return the car to one of it’s original liveries.
We have had many of the March 84G’s pass through our workshop over the years and we are fans of the unique styling and engineering…
The owner decided on this livery for the car featuring a base colour which was tricky to pin down. We only had these three images to work from. The event the first two images were taken was the West Palm Beach 3hr race in June 1986. The car qualified 22nd but failed to finish the race.
